Chicago, Chicago, My Home Town!

I announced several weeks ago that we our Summer Mission Project will be in Chicago this year! I can not tell you how excited I am to take a group of students to my hometown. I honestly believe that Chicago is one of the greatest places on earth!
We are going to be helping out an organization called Sunshine Gospel Ministries in their BridgeBuilder program. Click on the links to check out their website and learn a little bit more about their ministry.
The dates for the Summer Mission Project are June 20th-27th. We will be driving from Evans to Chicago (yes it is a long trip, but that will be half the fun!). Our accommodations will be in a local baptist church. Each day, we will be visiting various sites and learning about ministry to the poor. We will be helping out in their various ministry capacities. The final day will be spent seeing some of the famous sites of Chicago. One night will be reserved for some world famous Chicago pizza!
The cost of the trip is $350. This includes transportation costs, meals, and accommodations. If you would like to bring spending money, please do, but that will be extra.
Unfortunately, this trip is only open for the high school students. This means that students who are currently in high school and students who will be in high school next year (current 8th graders) are able to come. I already have about 10 people who are interested. If you are interested please let me know!
Also, I am looking for adult chaperones for the trip, both males and females. If anyone is interested in chaperoning, please let me know as soon as possible.
If you are interested in the trip, a $50 deposit is due on Wednesday April 1st. Scholarships are available. Please come talk to me!
