Fall Retreat

Our Fall retreat is scheduled for September 24-26, 2010 at Awanita Valley Retreat Center.  Many of you may be familiar with Awanita.  It is an amazing location for a retreat with plenty of activities for the students including hummer rides, a zip line, and a mud pit.

All students involved in youth group are invited.  This means all middle school and high school students (grades 6th -12th).

The cost of this retreat will be slightly higher than those in the past because of the great facility that we will be using.  I am putting the cost at $95.  The actual cost is higher, but we are trusting that God will provide the funds needed through fundraisers.  The first fundraiser will be providing childcare for the Low Country Boil on August 28.  If your children plan on attending the retreat, please plan on them helping out that evening.

The sign up deadline for the retreat is August 30.  Money needs to be turned in at the same time.  This is less than 2 weeks away, so students need to ask their friends immediately if they would like to come.  Anyone who tries to sign up after the 30th won’t be eligible to come.
